19 September
This was international talk like a pirate day, so what else do you do but dress up as pirates and go on a sail boat. It started off as a lovely day, some sunshine and not much wind, but ended up rather cold, a bit of drizzle. I did have a fantastic time climbing up the mast (made slightly difficult by the cold making me shiver while trying to climb).

After a week of listening to the smoke detector beeping at me, I finally remembered to buy a battery and replace it...ahhh silence.

While cleaning out to pack I found a whole host of bath salts and bath bombs, now just to figure out what to do with them as I cant remember the last time I actually had a bath.....

I went to see the titanic expo with a work mates daughter, as I was working both when my family and friends went to see it. She survived, and I didnt make it!!!!

The result of housesitting, and not having very much storage space, and working 7 days a week with not much time at home, means the kitchen bench gets used as a dumping ground, storage space and is a bit of a disaster

Most of the items I have borrowed from work are on Africa-only slightly obsessed by it....If I cant be there I will absorb it through books and dvd's

Ever 4 weeks or so my Aunties and I get together and do some scrapbooking. This is the last one at our place before we move.

I am making a bright quilt, and this is some of the fabric I have cut for it, only need a few more fat quarters to cut the squares, sew on 15 odd stars and I am ready to stitch it together :)
